Initiation
Working group identifies need. Charter and scope approved by Technical Committee.
Drafting
Working group develops initial draft with input from subject matter experts.
Internal Review
IFO4 Technical Committee reviews and provides initial feedback.
Public Comment
60-day public comment period open to the entire FinOps community.
Revision
Working group incorporates public feedback and revises accordingly.
Final Approval
Board approves final standard. Published and effective immediately.
