The aggregate value of a contract over its full term, including recurring fees, one-time fees, and any committed minimum services revenue. TCV is the broadest contract value measure and is the relevant figure for backlog disclosure and for sales compensation in many enterprise organisations. The federation requires TCV to be reported alongside ACV when material ramp or step pricing exists, with the ramp schedule disclosed under UFMS-001:3.2. TCV is reconciled to the contract management system and to deferred revenue with auditor verification.
A standard term of enterprise software sales practice; the construction predates the modern SaaS era and entered ARR vocabulary unchanged.
Federation members publish TCV when ramp or step pricing is material, with full ramp schedule. TCV is reconciled to the contract management system and to deferred revenue under MEV-Annex:4.1. Auditor verification is part of the annual accreditation cycle.
