The principal substantive standard of the IFO4 federation, comprising the articles, clauses, and annexes against which an organisation's posture in FinOps, SecOps, DevOps, observability, and governance is assessed for accreditation. UFMS is structured as a numbered hierarchy of articles, with each clause carrying a stable identifier of the form UFMS-001:X.Y. Federation members are bound by the version of UFMS in force at the time of accreditation, with transitional provisions for new versions documented in the controlling annex.
Drafted as the founding substantive instrument of the IFO4 federation; the title was adopted in the federation's constitutive proceedings.
Every federation accreditation submission references UFMS clause identifiers in its evidence index. Submissions that fail to reference UFMS by clause are non-conforming and returned for remediation under TGS-002:1.7.
